Real Estate Brokers Launch in the US

Bismarck, ND – Realty One Group – Encore became the first real estate brokerage to control their digital billboards in real-time with the Lucit Layout smart-phone application connected directly to their MLS system.

Layout, which launched earlier this year for auto dealers, automatically generates digital billboard creatives by connecting to back-end inventory systems.

“After our initial focus on automotive, this launch moves us into a new real estate footprint, which has a potential client base of over 1.4 million real estate agents in the US and Canada” says Gina Gordon, CEO of Lucit. “Promoting properties in the digital OOH medium has been an excellent fit for operators nationwide, and Layout opens up marketing capabilities for operators, brokerages and agents.”

Layout connects to any MLS database and automatically syncs currently listed properties in real-time directly to digital billboards.

“We developed a RETS interface through the FlexMLS back-end that the broker’s MLS system uses,” says Eric Kubischta, CTO of Lucit. “Because RETS is an industry standard protocol for real estate data, we have the capability to connect with nearly any MLS system in North America that uses RETS as its protocol. In addition to RETS, we can also ingest standard IDX feeds.”

Because creatives are automatically generated, Layout removes barriers to promoting individual properties. Historically, an agent or operator would have to either run a generic branding ad or have a graphic designer generate a new creative for every property they wanted to promote.

Layout automates this entire process, and gives the real estate agent full control over their properties with a smartphone application.

Realty One Group-Encore Broker, Pat Koski said “The application is super clean and easy and is a good value proposition for my clients.  I had people telling me they saw the ad all over the place. It’s definitely working.”

Finally, in a competitive world of social media advertising, clients have come to expect instant analytics. Layout is the first application to deliver real-time digital billboard analytics and statistics directly to real estate agents, brokerages and marketers.

For this real-estate launch, we partnered with Patrick Koski of Realty One Group Encore, iDigital, FlexMLS, and Apparatix.

As a digital billboard business, we recommend the use of digital billboards for businesses that need a frequent change of message as they advertise their product and services. Here, it is not just brand awareness; it is also reaching out to the customers with the right information at the right time. Digital billboards with technology intervention will make things easy.
