Billboards Criticize Michigan Judge’s Ruling
International Outdoor owner Randy Oram is using his billboards to protest a ruling by an Oakland County judge to reverse the original verdict in International Outdoor, Inc. v. SS MITX and Lamar Advertising. Oram claims the new ruling was based on false claims by a disgruntled former IO employee.
Samsung Showcases Stretchable Screen
During the IMID exhibit in Korea last week, Samsung Display showcased a MicroLED display that can stretch to 1.25 times its size. The vision for these stretchable screens is to eventually apply them to uneven surfaces like cars and furniture.
Time is Running Out to Enter the OOH Media Plan Awards
The deadline to enter OAAA’s OOH Media Plan Awards is fast approaching. Enter your most effective and efficient OOH media plans by Friday, September 6th. Judges will select campaigns that produced excellent results through best-in-class strategy, inspiring creative, thoughtful placement, and proper allocation of budgets. Campaigns must have launched between 7/1/23 and 6/30 2024.

Quebecor Acquires NEO-OOH
The OOH division of Quebecor Media Inc. has reached a deal to acquire Montreal-based NEO OOH – one of the longest-running DOOH media companies in Canada. NEO has 3,000+ screens in 600+ locations across 250 communities in the country.
