Florida Regional Account Director

Liquid Outdoor Media is a boutique outdoor advertising company with a national portfolio of media properties. We are looking for a Regional Account Director to market our new digital outdoor advertising properties in Miami/Ft Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, and Ft Myers. In addition, this position will represent our national portfolio of high-profile digital and static OOH assets to Florida-based agencies and advertisers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 – 5 years of experience in media sales, preferably out-of-home media sales. This candidate should be a self-starter with a great work ethic and have existing relationships with local/regional advertisers and advertising agencies throughout South Florida. This is a remote position and will require travel as necessary.

Salary plus commission structure commensurate with candidate’s experience. Benefits included.

OOH (Out-Of-Home) Media Buyer

ICON invests in and manages large strategic media inventory positions across all areas of media. Many of our clients extend their marketing budgets by trading their underutilized assets for media.

About the job

ICON International is currently searching for an OOH (Out-Of-Home) Media Buyer in either the Greenwich, CT or Ft. Lauderdale, FL office locations.

Position Description

The position of OOH Buyer will need to plan and negotiate Out-Of-Home (OOH) media while creating leverage and increasing the overall profitability of assigned buys.

Essential Job Functions

Interacts with clients, media vendors, and account managers regarding account status, and negotiations.
Negotiates with media vendors while securing OOH inventory while meeting profit goals.
Can easily manage buying/planning for multiple clients simultaneously.
Proficient in using and explaining OOH terminology.
- Must be able to utilize available data to support all OOH recommendations
Develops and maintains relationships with clients and vendors.
Analyzes media plans to determine which would most effectively reach target audience and increase profitability.
- Manages the RFP process; creates, coordinates, and distributes RFP to vendor consideration list.
- Follows industry trends and keeps up with marketplace conditions.
- Ensures accuracy on all media authorizations & vendor contracts
- Collaborate with fellow team members for efficient workflow
- Use of inventory banks against buys were applicable; engage with department leaders to initiate new trade opportunities.
May be trained to also buy other media forms as needed.

Ideal Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
Preferred minimum of three years of OOH Media buying/planning experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Geopath’s Workspace and Explore a plus
Ability to prioritize and multitask, work successfully with teams and work under pressure
Strong Communication, project management and time management skills
