Iconic Brands to Speak at DPAA Summit
NEW YORK – DPAA, the global trade marketing association, driving the growth and digitization of out-of-home media and its growing role in the omnichannel mix, announced today initial speakers for their October 10 DPAA Global Summit, this year entitled Omnivideo.
Confirmed early speakers include Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s and Cheryl Guerin, Exec. VP Global Brand Strategy & Innovation, Mastercard. Hassan and Guerin will be joined on stage by additional senior brand executives.

This year’s Summit will also honor leading women in digital with the association’s first WE.DOOH Awards (DPAA’s Women’s Empowerment Series). The Awards will honor women at various career and life stages and will include recognitions in categories of Rising Star, Unsung Hero, and Industry Vanguard. The highly successful DOOH-E (Digital Out of Home Excellence) Awards will once again be presented at this year’s summit. The DOOH-E Awards are the industry’s only people’s choice awards program. Award categories will include Best Purpose Driven Campaign, Most Creative Campaign, and Best Use of Programmatic Tech Innovation.
DPAA will once again begin the week with the heralded Newsmaker & VIP Invitation Dinner on October 9. The Summit on October 10 will include a full day of programming and networking – from breakfast to cocktails — at Pier 60 on the Hudson, and this year, an after party. The DPAA Global Summit – Omnivideo is part of Out of Home New York (formerly New York Digital Signage Week) which takes place from October 9 to 13.
