Surprise & Delight Moments with OOH
Last week I was speaking with Jeff Joaquin, Co Founder of Marquee Media about the underwhelming number of Digital Billboards supporting the Olympic Medal Count with daily updates. We were surprised more companies didn’t attempt this. Marquee Media partnered with KCRA and NBC 5 months in -advance on this project. The project and planning took a significant commitment of resources in hours and work. Was it worth it? We think so, based on the community response, it was a winner.
Sports and OOH have always been are strong partners. Marquee Media frequently finds themselves proactively encouraging the sporting category. It works for them with social media and earned media with in the local Broadcast community.
Here are a few examples—
- Large format digital displays make a HUGE Impact on new Sacramento Kings players! Marquee Media was able to program the attached creative 20 minutes before #DavionMitchell and #NeemiasQueta started their tour of #Golden1Center and #DOCO. This Surprise and Delight Moment was captured by the Sacramento Kings and left a Great First Impression and is exploding on social media with over 80,000 shared views. See MP4 attached video below.
