All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you.  Thank you for our independence and thank you for the precious freedom which we don’t appreciate enough. I am one of the privileged who never served in the armed forces.  But I do have friends and family members who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I also watched as a child friends’ older brothers get shipped off to Vietnam.  I can attest to the fact that the physical and mental sacrifices are enormous.  So again thank you.  

In honor of Veterans Day, I thought I would mention a few war movies that have made me appreciate these brave men and women a little bit more.  Hit me back and let me know which ones I have missed.   For those visiting a headstone today, my heart is with you.
