

Visual Feeder Launches First-of-Its-Kind Sound-Triggering DOOH Campaign for ESPN / The Kingdom
Visual Feeder, in collaboration with Publicis, launches an innovative digital out-of-home (DOOH) campaign in celebration of The Kingdom, the ESPN docuseries that chronicles the Kansas City Chiefs’ pursuit of football history.
The activation brings the story of The Kingdom off the screen and into the streets. As fans walk past, motion triggers set off the team chant “How about those Chiefs!” prompting storefront projections to come alive. Larger-than-life visuals of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Andy Reid and Chris Jones appear, illuminated as their voices cycle through memorable dialogue.
The interactive experience connects the spirit of the documentary with the energy of live fandom, transforming everyday city blocks into an extension of the Chiefs’ dynasty. The Kingdom explores the legacy of the Kansas City Chiefs, blending behind-the-scenes access, personal stories, and cultural context to capture one of the NFL’s most compelling modern dynasties. This activation mirrors storytelling, merging technology, sound, and light to engage audiences beyond the traditional screen.
By integrating sound-triggered audio with large-scale projection mapping, Visual Feeder and Publicis created an unforgettable interactive DOOH campaign that embodies the excitement of the series and the passion of Chiefs Kingdom. The technology for the experience combines precision projection mapping onto a vibrant window film with a camera that detects viewers near the speakers, triggering an audio clip, resulting in an engaging and responsive activation.
