Star Buds, a neighborhood dispensary owned by Schwazze, recently launched a dynamic countdown to 420 on several digital billboards in Colorado. The two billboards in Northern Colorado and two in Denver are targeted in trading zones near retail locations.

This isn’t their first rodeo with out-of-home. The dispensary started their campaign with Street Media Group back in October 2021. Over the course of the program this is now the 4th time they have changed creative, including “Find Your Happy” and “Stop and Smell the Buds.”
“With COVID restrictions now lifted, we’re excited to hold special events and activities at our retail stores. It made sense for us to generate excitement with a live countdown to 4/20. Billboards are a great way to get that message out in a major way; the digital format enabled us to activate the dynamic countdown timer to this iconic holiday,” said Julie Suntrup, vice president of marketing and merchandizing for Schwazze, the parent company of Star Buds in Colorado.
