As video display systems continue to grow in complexity and variety of projects in the US, Daktronics has promoted Josh Francois into the role of managing director for the Spectaculars division of the company. In this new role, Francois will oversee the sales group with focuses on custom LED projects in the commercial, retail and out of home sectors for locations such as New York and Las Vegas and everything in between.
“With this restructure of our Spectaculars division, we’re confident Josh Francois can lead our company and sales representatives to success by delivering on the needs and desires of our great customers,” said Daktronics Vice President of Live Events and Spectaculars Jay Parker. “This new organization of resources allows us to connect with customers more frequently and streamline the flow of communication to swiftly work with those entities on their LED display needs.”
Francois brings extensive experience in LED video display sales for Daktronics to this new role. He was previously in the Live Events division delivering solutions for sports applications and most recently was director of the Western region overseeing Daktronics’ Spectaculars market in Las Vegas and California.

Delivering LED solutions to customers in places such as Times Square and the Las Vegas Strip dates back as far as the mid-1980s for Daktronics.
