WOO names second Keynote speaker for Korean Regional Forum

Cheil Worldwide EVP and Head of Solution Division Hun Choi has been named as the second Keynote speaker at the World Out of Home Organization’s forthcoming Regional Forum in Seoul Korea. The Forum will be held on November 5-7. The already named Keynote speaker is senior JCDecaux executive Daniel Hofer.

Choi, who has spent 27 years at Cheil in roles spanning media-related initiatives including the integration of media + creative and media + data to inform numerous successful campaigns for Samsung and others, will show why Out of Home is making a strong comeback in a world dominated by personalized marketing and data.

Perhaps, he will suggest, it’s because OOH reflects human nature more authentically than any other medium, with examples from Korean and global brands.

WOO President Tom Goddard says: “Growing the medium in a world increasingly dominated by what we might call narrowcasting is one of the big challenges for Out of Home in this region and worldwide. But it also represents a massive opportunity for OOH to make its case to the world’s biggest advertisers. There is no better guide than Hun Choi who has spent much of his distinguished career doing exactly that.”
