Who’s The Company Behind SXSW’s Massive Building Wraps

You are strolling around Austin and SXSW or, more likely, if you are like me, in a fast walk moving on to your next meeting or event, and you are wondering who is behind the massive building wraps.

To no one’s surprise, those in the OOH business know it to be a New York-based Out-of-Home (OOH) company, KAP Media.  KAP is closing out on its 3rd year at SXSW.

Look at what Lori Brabant, Founder, CEO, and the KAP team has been up to below.

KAP debuted its short-term media placements at SXSW in 2023 with three significant campaigns for Amazon Prime, Showtime, and Doritos. In 2024, they continued to scale—growing from six installations (up to 12,000 square feet) to 11 this year, with the largest spanning a staggering 24,000 square feet. Now in their third year, KAP Media is an official SXSW partner, working alongside the festival and top hotels to reshape the city’s visual landscape.
