TRAVIS SCOTT TEAMS UP WITH MILKMONEY FOR DRONE QR CODE DISPLAY AT ROLLING LOUD MIAMI
AdTech Platform MilkMoney Launches ‘Flying QR Code’ To Drop New Song ‘Escape Plan’ for Travis Scott
Los Angeles- MilkMoney, the leading on-demand media buying marketplace connecting advertisers with unique out-of-home (OOH) advertising opportunities around the globe, was utilized by Travis Scott to launch the first ever music release via Drone QR code. The QR code directed fans to a Spotify playlist featuring his new single “Escape Plan.”
The OOH activation took place during Scott’s headlining performances at Rolling Loud at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Performances included Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, DaBaby, and City Girls.
MilkMoney has emerged as the premier media buyer for the music industry, securing OOH placements for: Jay-Z, Drake, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga, Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Live Nation, Roc Nation, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and more.
“Everyone knows Travis is one of the best performers in the game, but on Saturday night he took it to another level. Dropping new music and giving fans direct access to the song through a drone installation is unheard of and MilkMoney and Travis made it happen! Rolling Loud fans cheered and took out their phones to capture the moment and scan the QR code, marking the beginning of a new era of live performances. What a way to bring back live music!” – Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud Co-Founder / Co-CEO
This isn’t the first campaign with Travis – the company has run campaigns for his various album releases, his Netflix documentary “Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly,” his Astroworld Festival, his Agave Spiked Seltzer, Cacti and his shoe drops with Jordan and NikeSB.
“We’re always looking to provide advertisers with new and innovative opportunities to engage their target audience in a meaningful way out in the real world,” said Sam Keywanfar, Founder and CEO at MilkMoney. “Now that QR codes have finally hit mainstream, we’re excited to infuse drone and QR code technology to provide a fully immersive experience for Travis Scott fans at Rolling Loud.”
