Alight Media’s Matthew Dearden to speak on Retail Media at WOO Milan
Alight Media Founder and CEO Matthew Dearden will lift the lid on Retail Media at the World Out of Home Organization’s forthcoming Europe forum in Milan from November 4-6.
Dearden, Founder and CEO of Alight Media and a former President of FEPE International, will address Retail Media: Reality & Myth. Retail media, he will say, is a fashionable hot topic – but what does it mean? Is it, on the one hand, just an ad on Amazon? Or, on the other, a poster in a mall? What is the role of data? Where do the ad budgets come from?
This high-growth, fast-moving sector is still being created so join this session to get the inside track opinion from an industry expert who is helping to pioneer retail media developments.
WOO CMO Richard Saturley says: “Retail Media is potentially a huge opportunity for Out of Home, the same kind of symbiotic relationship outdoor once had with mainstream TV. But, as ever, there are challenges and possible pitfalls. There could be no better guide than Matthew to a key aspect of OOH’s present and future.”
Ströer Co-CEO Christian Schmalzl and WOO favourite Dino Burbidge have already been announced as speakers and WOO will be revealing more speakers in the coming weeks.
