City Officials Debate Billboards on Chicago Riverwalk
Amid a search for more revenue, members of the Chicago City Council are considering whether or not to allow digital billboards along the Chicago Riverwalk and in empty downtown storefronts. A subcommittee meeting is slated for Wednesday, June 26, to consider whether to expand the advertising.

Global OOH Ad Revenue Expected to Rise 11.5% in 2024
GroupM’s 2024 Global Midyear Forecast estimates that global ad revenue will grow 7.8% in 2024 to $989.8B, with US revenue set to reach $365.9B. OOH ad revenue is expected to grow by 11.5% to reach $49.7B, 41% of which will be DOOH.
