Dentsu Revises Global Ad Spend Growth Forecasts
Global advertising spend is now forecast to grow by 5% in 2024 (vs. 3.3% in 2023) to reach $754.B, according to dentsu, with OOH growing by 4.2%. The US presidential election alone is forecast to account for about a third ($11 billion) of the incremental ad spend in 2024.

Miami Rolls Back Outdoor Ordinance
In a 4-1 vote last week, Miami commissioners rolled back a January 2023 ordinance that allowed 100-foot-tall lighted signs with two faces at an expanded list of locations that included Bayfront Park, Maurice A. Ferré Park, the Adrienne Arsht Center and PAMM.
The new ordinance amends the list of authorized sites, removing the Adrienne Arsht Center and PAMM and adding regulations relating to signs that will apply to those already permitted at the sites mentioned.
