McDonald’s Netherland recently ran an OOH campaign with zero branding or visual cues aside from their iconic red and yellow shades. Inside the boards were fresh French Fries, emitting their signature scent through a custom ventilation system.
The billboards were placed within 700 feet of McDonald’s restaurants, enabling those spurred by the scent to quickly satisfy their cravings.
