Previously, the DPAA Summit has featured performances from Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations, A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical, Hadestown, The Blue Man Group, and Back to the Future.
MJ The Musical is centered around the making of Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour, and was created by Tony Award®-winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage. MJ goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Jackson into legendary status. The show won four Tony Awards including Best Actor in a Musical, Best Choreography, Best Lighting Design of a Musical, and Best Sound Design of a Musical.
