A reimagined, standalone event celebrating standout creative in OOH is coming to New York City in October 2026

The OBIE Awards, the out of home industry’s most storied creative honor, are entering an exciting new chapter. Beginning in 2026, the OBIEs will debut as a standalone event in October in New York City, expanding their visibility and making the celebration even more accessible to agencies, brands, and creative leaders across the industry.

For more than 80 years, the OBIEs have recognized the ideas and campaigns that define the power of out of home. Moving to a dedicated evening allows the awards to take center stage, spotlighting the breakthrough work and bringing together the creative talent shaping the future of the medium. As OOH continues to evolve through digital innovation, experiential storytelling, and new measurement tools, the OBIEs are evolving with it to reflect the ambition and creative energy driving the industry forward.
