Firefly Acquires Curb Taxi Media
Firefly Kicks Competitor to the Curb — As Cities Reopen and OOH Advertising Returns

Publisher’s note:
According to an announcement arriving anomalously to our desk this AM, Firefly has acquired Curb Taxi Media as stated in the document signed by Firefly’s CRO, Cecilia Lang. The business worlds’, rendition of, ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’, the philosophy on competition is a means to short term success. In this case, ‘If you can’t beat them buy them.’
Certainly there are more efficiencies in a combined inventory. If one claims leadership by the total number of assets, than the pressure to successfully perform becomes even greater to turn that competitive edge into leadership where it really counts and that is at the bottom line. The million dollar question is now more focused, as it always should be, on the efficiencies of the management and sales team. From our perspective, Curb appeared to have the edge in the sales and marketing perspective. With regards to rev’s, we have no clue. We look forward to hearing more about Firefly going forward. We wish them well. See the announcement below the Circle Graphics message.

We have supercharged our OOH network
to become the leader in car-top advertising
Firefly acquires Curb Taxi Media
Hi there,
As a valued brand partner, we wanted to share some exciting news with you.
As of last Friday, Firefly has acquired Curb Taxi Media.
The deal will give us access to over ten thousand top-of-car screens to significantly scale our disruptive technology and network to become the undisputed leader in the US, with presence in 11 cities, including the major media markets of New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Miami.
We will continue to leverage the first and only live ad optimization platform, Street.IQ, to continually learn and improve campaign results for our clients, throughout our current network, but also scaling across our new cities such as Boston, Atlanta and Philadelphia.
While we continue to work through the integration, we will continue to operate as separate companies, so nothing changes when it comes to our RFP process or delivery.
As cities reopen and out-of-home (OOH) advertising returns, we believe the synergy between Curb Taxi Media and Firefly will enable advertisers to capitalize on new growth opportunities through an expanded portfolio of mobility solutions available under the same umbrella, as well as reach new markets through best-in-class taxi media solutions.
No actions are required on your part, and we can assure you that this transition will be as seamless as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at cecilia.lang@fireflyon.com.
Thank you so much
Cecilia
CRO, Firefly
