2025 Black History Month: Celebrating Visionaries


Clear Channel Outdoor is celebrating Black History Month in 2025 with a new digital OOH month-long campaign honoring and reflecting on Black history with a contemporary spin.
This year, the Smithsonian Institution will celebrate Black History Month with the 2025 theme, “African Americans and Labor,” which focuses on the pivotal role African Americans’ work has played in shaping U.S. history and the meaningful ways it has defined the Black American experience.
We will pay homage to the national theme by shining a light on those we’re calling “Visionaries” – African Americans from various professions in the modern era, who, despite obstacles, imagined and ultimately achieved career goals that broke barriers and paved the way for others.
Our campaign, “Celebrating Visionaries,” highlights the high-flyers, self-starters and go-getters who were single-minded in their visions of the future – often when no one else would co-sign the dream, see the potential or believe in the opportunity.
Throughout February, the campaign will run across CCO’s nationwide digital billboard network and be shared across social platforms.
